LAKE PLACID DAYDREAMING

Mirror Lake is aptly named for it's brilliant reflection of the surrounding lights and high peaks making it a dreamlike destination. As I sit in my New York home about 3 and a half hours south of Lake Placid, I send my daydreams onward to the north! Looking forward to sitting dockside on Mirror Lake with my toes dipped in the clear refreshing water and watching the stars slowly make their appearance. I often have a tough time deciding which season I like better in the Adirondacks. Truly a setting that never gives up, perhaps it's the undying Olympic spirit.
